eNovcanik application | UX/UI design of the money transfer application
UX/UI mobile app
About the project
The e-wallet application represents a modern solution for digital financial management, designed to provide users with a fast, simple, and secure way to send and receive e-currency. The focus was on maximum accessibility - whether the user wants to transfer funds to a friend, make a payment, or simply check their balance, all functionalities are available through an intuitive interface optimized for everyday use.

The goal of the project
The e-wallet application represents a modern solution for digital financial management, allowing users to transfer e-currency quickly, easily, and securely within the application itself. It was created with the aim of replacing the need for traditional banking services and providing a reliable, everyday solution for peer-to-peer transactions.
The focus was on creating an accessible user interface that enables all users to navigate easily - regardless of their technical background - while maintaining a high level of security and compliance with regulatory standards.

Challenges in project work
One of the biggest challenges during the project was the lack of clear and complete specifications in the early stages of development. Since this is a financial application, its design had to comply with the strict regulations and oversight of the National Bank of Serbia and other relevant bodies.
Additionally, considering that there was no similar solution in the domestic market, we had to rely on the analysis of existing e-banking applications to define the basic structure and functionalities of the system.
Research, planning, and design process
The process began by researching user needs. We created user personas that allowed us to better understand the behaviors and expectations of different user groups. In parallel, domestic and foreign applications from the fintech sector were analyzed to identify best practices that we could adapt to our context.
System planning took place in close collaboration with the legal team and project managers to ensure that the design complied with all regulatory guidelines that change during development.
The design evolved iteratively - through numerous revisions, additions of new functionalities, and optimization of existing ones. Each new piece of information or guideline received from project managers or supervisory authorities was carefully analyzed and implemented, but always with a User First approach.

The system is designed to make the entire process as easy as possible for the user - from registration and identity verification to everyday use of the application. We have paid special attention to the clarity of flows, readability of the interface, and logical arrangement of elements in order to reduce the cognitive load on users and enable intuitive navigation through the application.

Throughout the entire design and development process, we adhered to the principles of a User First policy, aiming for each functionality to be shaped in a way that provides the user with clarity, simplicity, and security. As we gradually received new information from the project manager and relevant supervisory authorities, we made every effort to integrate them into the design immediately - but in a way that does not disrupt the user experience, rather enhances it.
Particular attention was paid to generating a system that allows users to navigate easily and intuitively through all key steps, starting from registration and profile verification, all the way to the daily use of the e-currency transfer application. We aimed to "translate" the complexity of legal requirements into logical and simple user flows, ensuring that the entire process is as minimally burdensome as possible, while being efficient, safe, and pleasant for the end user.

Despite the challenges related to specifications and regulatory requirements, a scalable and secure product has been developed that does not compromise on user experience. Through close collaboration with teams and a focus on user-centered design, a solution has been created that meets high standards both in terms of functionality and compliance with laws.
Throughout the entire process, the priority was balancing functionality, legal constraints, and user experience - with a clear goal of developing a reliable, modern, and scalable application for digital finance.
